Aaron Deemer is a fully licensed acupuncturist (LicAc) and member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC), and has been treating since 2010. He is also a founding member and trustee of the Association of Five Element Acupuncturists (AFEA), and the director of AFEA Outreach – a community acupuncture programme. He is also a certified qigong and mindfulness meditation teacher.
Aaron’s passion for Chinese medicine, Qigong, and meditation started while working and living in Beijing, China from 2003 to 2008. Aaron received his licentiate in Acupuncture from the London Institute of Five Element Acupuncture, his Qigong teacher training at the College of Elemental Chi Kung, and his meditation teacher training at the Mindfulness Training Institute.
Aaron’s work in acupuncture, Qigong and meditation provides him with the foundation and, most importantly, the balance necessary to live a positive and healthy life. His passion is sharing this practice with others, offering his patients the strength and space to develop their own capacity for health and well-being.
In addition to this work, Aaron is also the founder and director of the Glow Fund (www.glowfund.org), a UK Charitable Trust that organises and funds orthopaedic operations for disabled children in China and Tibet. In 2017 Aaron was awarded a Points of Light Award from Prime Minister Theresa May.
